Anderson, Connelly, and Logan earn Athletic Accolades

Posted on October 25, 2012

This week, three student-athletes were honored with Athletic Accolades. Tess Anderson ’13, Joe Connelly ’13, and Otti Logan ’17 received the award for their hard work and performance on the field.

Tess Anderson ’13 – Varsity Volleyball

In our last two games, Tess has been incredibly aggressive and consistent both defensively and offensively. She is getting her serves when we really need it, and she is always calling for set for her front row attack. Tess has compiled 13 kills and 5 aces in the last two games against Bancroft and Pingree. It is evident that Tess is one of our strongest assets, and her athleticism has really helped Beaver volleyball.

Joe Connelly ’13 – Boys Cross Country

Joe Connelly has had a stellar cross-country season up to this point, and he has shown leadership both on and off the course. Not only has he crossed the line in first place in every single race he has competed in, but gearing up for the championship meets, Joe has the fastest 5k time of anyone in the league this season. His league-leading time of 17:21 was notched at Pingree, the location of this year’s impending EIL Championship Meet.

Otti Logan ’17 – Middle School Field Hockey

Otti is currently the leading scorer on the team and a very valued offensive player. Otti is a good friend and teammate, always looking out for her team and pushing others to do better. At practice she is focused and her hard work has paid off on the field and can be seen during games.  Otti got the first hat trick of the season at a home game vs LCA where her speed and dribbling skills helped her to gain multiple break always from LCA’s defensive line.
