Beaver’s 2011-2012 performing arts season wraps up with the middle school production of The Antigone Project on Thursday, May 31 and Friday, June 1 at 7:00 p.m. in the Black Box Theater.

What inspires a person to take a stand? How do you define citizenship? How do you define “right” and “wrong”? Using the classic Greek tragedy Antigoneby Sophocles as a starting point, the ensemble will explore these issues and how they relate to their lives today. This classic tale of a young girl standing up to the king to save the honor of her brother is the culmination of the middle school drama season.
