The Beaver lacrosse program entered Thursday’s game vs. Landmark looking to continue their winning ways. After a slow start, Beaver was able to string together 5 straight goals and held a narrow 2 goal (5-3) lead at the end of the first quarter. Junior “attackmen” Dom Smith and Danny Getz dominated the offensive side of the field with 5 goals and 2 assists, in a combined effort during the first 12 minutes of play.
The second half was much of the same with Beaver extending their lead with several goals from senior Captains Charlie Segar and Anthony Richardson, along with a 2 goal, one assist performance from freshman Nat Brown. The Beaver squad looked impressive in their fourth game of the season with a final score of 15-8 over league rival Landmark.
On Monday the team will travel to Groton to take on an ISL team in Lawrence Academy @ 4:00.
