“Nail Biter” For JV Boys Tennis

In our first match of the year, the Boys JV Tennis team faced a very evenly matched opponent in CSW’s Varsity tennis squad, but came away losing 3 out of our 5 matches.

At 1st singles, Brendan Chamoun scrambled and used his consistency to win, 8-2.
At 2nd singles, Joseph Steinberg fought a strong opponent, and came out on top, 8-5.
Marc Davis played a senior captain of the CSW team at 3rd singles, and lost in a nail-biting tie-breaker, 8-7 (7-5)
Harry Polstein and Captain Neil Hildick-Smith lost at 1st doubles, facing a team with strong serving, 8-6.
Captain Kyle Fox and John Evans lost at 2nd doubles in another tie-breaker, 8-7 (7-4).

The next match a home match against Boston Trinity School, scheduled for Friday, 4/13.
