During a ceremony on Thursday, November 17, sixteen seniors and two faculty members were inducted to Beaver’s chapter of the Cum Laude Society. Founded in 1906, the Cum Laude Society is dedicated to honoring scholastic achievement in secondary schools for the purpose of promoting excellence, justice, and honor.
Beaver middle school math teacher and boys’ varsity basketball coach Juan Figueroa addressed the inductees and congratulated them on their achievement while asking them to take what they are passionate about and work hard to make a difference in others lives.
