Four members of Beaver’s math team traveled to Worcester last week to compete at the 2011 Annual WPI Invitational Mathematics Meet with approximately 90 other schools. Will Harrington ’12, David Taus ’12, Brian Rubenstein ’13, and Neil Hildick-Smith ’13 participated in both an individual and a team round. While the team didn’t place, junior standout Brian Rubenstein performed especially well, and earned a $1000 scholarship to Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
