Beaver coaches and athletes are back on campus and gearing up for an exciting fall season. The Athletic Department and school community are thrilled to welcome new and returning student-athletes to begin our 2011 fall athletic season. As the teams participate in double-session workouts they are prepared to continue on a path towards athletic excellence.

“There is a buzz surrounding the beginning of the school year and return of the student-athletes this fall. The energy and expectations are at a high level across each of our sports,” said Athletic Director Sherry Levin. “We look forward to seeing our student athletes work hard and do their best.”

Cross Country:

2010 was a banner year for the varsity boys’ cross country team as they were undefeated capturing the EIL Championship and the NEPSAC Class D Title. With a number of returning runners the boys are poised to challenge for another championship banner. The girls’ cross country team has added some young and eager runners and hopes to show well amongst the strong EIL teams.

Field Hockey:

Following three consecutive EIL Tournament appearances, the field hockey team will look to participate in the postseason tourney for the fourth straight year. The team has a group of young talent who will work hard and continue to build on its recent progress.

Golf:

The varsity golf team is looking to get back to championship form. After winning five consecutive EIL championships from 2004-08, the team has re-loaded and has hopes of a strong finish this season in the top of the league.

In 2010 the team finished second in EIL competition and qualified for the NEPSAC Class C Tournament.
