Charlie Segar (2011) found the back of the net for the third straight game, and David Price (2014) was spectacular again between the woodwork, as Beaver continued the 2011 campaign undefeated with a 2-1 win at class B powerhouse Rivers. Playing an ISL team for the second time in five days, Beaver improved to 2-0-1 on the young season (1-0-0 EIL). Rivers got on the scoreboard in the 9th minute when a counter attack turned into an advantage situation and Rivers’ Ben Sia snuck a ball past Price. Beaver would equalize before the half when Segar received a ball in the 31st minute, played it up the left channel and crossed it across the goal mouth for Silmar Bueno (2014) to tuck home. Beaver would tally the game winner in the 61st minute when Zachary Herivaux (2015) collected a ball in the middle third, took on several defenders before serving a world class ball that found Segar’s head at the far post. David Price finished with 14 saves to preserve the win.
