Two Beaver grads attending Boston University, soccer goalkeeper Alice Binns ’07 and lacrosse attacker Molly Swain ’07, are distinguishing themselves in Division I athletics. Alice, a junior, currently leads the Eastern Conference with a record of 0.66 GAA, and Molly was featured in “Inside Lacrosse” magazine this summer.

A health science major, Alice attends BU’s Sargent College of Health and Rehabilitation. Catch Alice in action on Sunday, October 3, when the BU women’s soccer team takes on Stony Brook at 1 PM on Nickerson Field at BU.

Molly, a red-shirt junior, is a fine arts major in BU’s College of Fine Arts and will begin a master’s in arts education next year. In her summer off-season, she completed a rigorous NOLS wilderness program in Wyoming. Her NOLS experience was featured in Inside Lacrosse.

Molly and the BU women’s lacrosse team will compete in Harvard’s fall tournament on Sunday, October 3, with games at 9 AM, 12 PM and 2 PM in Cambridge. The team also will play exhibition games against the US National Lacrosse Team on Sunday, October 10 at 1 and 3:30 PM at Harvard.
