Sadie wanted to explore how Type 1 diabetes can be used to teach mathmetical concepts. After collaborating with teachers to research and plan a lesson, Sadie presented her work to a 7th grade math class. Through her lesson, students analyzed ratios, proportions, and setting up equations through the lens of Type 1 diabetes, deepening their understanding of both math and the condition.
