Bio

Marc Zimman and his wife Sarah live in Brookline and are the parents of Abigail ’28 and Elizabeth ’30, who both began their Beaver enrollment in 6th grade and continued to the Upper School.

Marc is currently a Partner & Portfolio Manager at PAR Capital Management (since 2014) where he directs the firm’s investments in the financial services industry; primarily focused on banks, payments, and financial technology companies. Previously, he was a Portfolio Manager at Highbridge Capital Management (acquired by JPMorgan), and a Managing Director at Duquesne Capital Management. He began his career in the Mergers and Strategic Advisory group of Goldman Sachs.

Marc graduated from Bowdoin College summa cum laude (1998), and received a Diploma in Economics and M.Phil in History from St. John’s College at the University of Cambridge, UK, where he studied as a Keasby Fellow.
