Hello, Middle School Students and Families! Here’s a look at what’s happening in the Middle School this week.

Important note: We DO have school on Friday, Veteran’s Day.

Quinn Burke ’28 and Adyana Gresham ’28 ran today’s meeting. You can check out the slides from this week’s meeting here.

THE BVR STUDENT

At Middle School meetings throughout the year, students present elements of The BVR Student.

Andrew Isacson ’28, Kellan Glass ’28, and Harrison Mrazek ’28 presented Asks For Help When They are Struggling.

If you don’t ask for help, then you won’t be able to learn what you need to learn, and you could fall behind. Your teacher can give you feedback to help you become more successful and thrive in that class. Asking for help can be easy, some examples are raising your hand, emailing a teacher, and talking with your advisor. These examples might seem scary, but in the long run, they can help you grow as a student.

FEED YOUR BRAIN BOOK BUFFET

Lore by Alexandra Bracken

Recommended by Charlie Daly ’29

WHAT I LIKED ABOUT THIS BOOK …
The book is about a girl named Lore in New York City. Every 7 years, 9 gods are made to walk the earth in mortal form. People can kill the gods and take their powers. It is about Greek mythology. It is a good book with strong female characters. Also, I like Greek Mythology.

WHY I THINK YOU WOULD LIKE IT …
You’ll like the book if you like strong female characters and Greek Mythology.
