Annual Report: An update on the Annual Fund

Posted on July 1, 2022

Beaver’s Annual Fund is an effort by the entire community to support the people and programs that make Beaver unique. Beaver has maintained raising over $2M dollars annually over the past few years, which we are very proud of accomplishing.

This year marked Beaver’s third Founders’ Day, during which all members of the alumni community were invited to come together to support the school by making a gift. The goal of the Day was simple to secure over 200 gifts. Thanks to the tremendous response alumni helped unlock not just one but two challenge gifts and raised over $150,000.

Looking back at my time at Beaver, something that has made my experience really great is the faculty and staff that push us to be great and have pushed me to take chances in my own learning. The Annual Fund provides the means to ensure we get the best staff and resources to support us. — Randall Vega ’20

Alumni inspired our parent community to kick off our first Families for the Dam giving day. Thanks to the incredible community of Beaver believers, parent participation surpassed 80% and secured $80,000 in challenge funds. Within our parent community, senior families identified the desire to leave a legacy and build a stronger tomorrow at Beaver through the Senior Annual Fund. It is also a moment when the school invites seniors to join their parents and guardians in participating in philanthropy by making their first gift to the Annual Fund.

Our success reflects the community’s confidence in the school’s leadership, the positive academic and extracurricular experiences students are having, and the fondness alumni and parents of graduates feel for their school.

Every dollar counts. Every gift matters. Every donor makes a difference.
