Ruby Parker-Geller ’31 shared “Tries new things… “

I chose tries new things as an important part of the Beaver student because you can miss out on something you might really like. Even if you don’t end up liking it, you could meet new people. I tried dance for the first time, and I ended up really liking it and meeting new people. I think everyone should try new things!

Announcements

The next Hiatt Leadership Institute is happening this Monday, April 28 at 8:00 a.m. at 245 Woodland. Students will learn how to harness the power of their inner voice to deliver messages that make an impact. Join us to learn techniques for clear communication that will help us effectively share our ideas, and inspire others. Students can sign up using the form Ms. Garayúa shared today.

The Middle School Social is happening this Friday!

  • Who: Beaver Middle School students
  • What: Dinner, a sweet treat, dancing with a DJ, and games
  • When: Friday, April 25 from 6-8 p.m.
  • What to wear: The theme is Garden Gala. We want to dress to impress.

Tomorrow’s RISE activity is a nature walk. Through fun activities, students learn how to deal with stress and worry.

ADVISORY
This week in advisory, 8th grade advisories will be pairing up with 6th grade advisories to present their Share The Wisdom presentations. Seventh graders will participate in a “Top 5 Answers” quiz game.
