15 Beaver students traveled to France this spring to expand upon their studies at Beaver. Students in Art and Society and Environments in Crisis kicked off their trip in Paris where they toured the iconic landmarks and sites of the city. An emphasis was placed on exploring the art and storytelling of the city, connecting the tour to what students had studied in class.

The trip culminated with a homestay in Les Herbiers, a commune in western France. Last year, Beaver families hosted students from Les Herbiers in an exchange program exposing French students to American culture. The roles were reversed on this trip, with Beaver students getting to immerse themselves in the local community.
