Dr.-Louis-Reginald-Brothers Distinguished Alumni Award: Dr. Louis Reginald Brothers ’77
Nominated by President Barack Obama, Dr. Reginald Brothers ’77 was confirmed by the Senate as the Under Secretary of Science and Technology of the Department of Homeland Security on April 7, 2014. Oskowitz-4 Outstanding Young Alumni Award: Doron ‘Dori’ Oskowitz ’97
Grammy nominated director Doron ‘Dori’ Oskowitz’s video collaborations span some of music’s most influential artists – including Jack White, Cee-Lo, Lenny Kravitz, Pharrell, Passion Pit, Marina and the Diamonds, Wiz Khalifa, Ke$ha, Raphael Saadiq, Leon Bridges, and many others. Sarita Wright '99 Outstanding Young Alumni Award: Sarita Wright Lucas ’99
(Awarded posthumously) Born in Boston in 1981, Sarita Wright Lucas ’99 was always bright and beautiful. She entered Beaver in 6th grade and graduated in 1999. Ms. Lucas excelled academically, and attended Barnard Columbia College in New York. She then went on to graduate from Suffolk Law School, and in August 2014, was appointed Head of the Wilmington Trial Unit in Delaware. Read more about Ms. Lucas.
dave-berman Service to School Award: Dave Berman ’02
Berman attended Columbia University, where he majored in Applied Mathematics. Since graduating from Columbia, Berman has worked at Intex Solutions as a financial analyst and software engineer. He has served as an Alumni Board Member at Beaver for the past 7 years. Read more about Berman.
ian-moss Driscoll Award for Social Responsibility: Ilan Moss ’93
For a number of years, Moss has worked to improve access to essential medicines. He has spent half his career in Europe, Africa, and Southeast Asia, helping international organizations tell their stories. Last December, he moved to New York and became communications manager for the Drugs for Neglected Diseases initiative (DNDi). Read more about Moss.
