Director’s Note
The more things change … Twelfth Night is a play about love- the truth and the illusion of it. In setting this 400+-year-old play in 2020, we see how much our ideas about love have and have not changed. Similarly, in Shakespeare’s day, plagues closed London theatres several times, sometimes for years. Today, our theatre, like those worldwide, “travels” via Zoom. This new medium combines digital delivery with some of the immediacy and continuity of live performance. It is a strong testament to the commitment and enthusiasm of our student actors, technicians, and stage managers that they maintained an improvisational mindset and completed this ambitious project in such a challenging year! This Online Premiere event is another new experience, with actors witnessing the finished product for the first time with audiences by their sides. Thank you for your support, tonight and throughout the process. Play on!

Special Thanks
