Upper School
Club: Cooking Club
Club Leader: Jack Wosk ’23
Terms Running: Winter, Spring
Cooking Club is about learning how to cook and the science used behind cooking. They sometimes watch videos related to food science, and other times they get the chance to cook and experiment themselves.
“The reason I like this club is because we are able to have group discussions about our favorite types of food and what we enjoy cooking.” – Jack Wosk ’23
Currently the club is learning how to integrate salt fat acid heat into different foods, as well as the effects it has. Additionally, the club had done some hands-on work where they cooked foods such as guacamole and eggs.
The other club members shared how they like learning new things about cooking and greatly enjoy eating the food in the process.
Upper School clubs meet every Tuesday. Click here to see the full list of Upper School clubs.
