Kim McCabe talked to students about the impact of plastics on the ocean. McCabe recently returned from Plastics at Sea North Pacific Expedition, where she researched the effects of plastic marine debris in the ocean ecosystem.
McCabe is currently working at the New England Aquarium, and has also started a blog, WasteWatchers, where she’s tracking her plastic use in 2013.
