The Beaver Boys Varsity Soccer team opened the 2011 season with a bang on Wednesday. Beaver controlled from the opening whistle en route to a comfortable 9-0 win. Senior captain, Charlie Segar (2012) scored a hat trick as did Silmar Bueno (2014). Zack LaCava (2014) scored on a screamer into the upper ninety from 30 yards out, and newcomers Eric Reed (2014) and Sam Bacherman (2015) recorded their first varsity goals. In net, David Price (2014) earned his first clean sheet with a solid performance. Captains Zeke Satloff (2012) and Jay Rodman (2012) diffused all Landmark attacks while Zachary Herivaux (2015) controlled the middle of the park. Next up, Beaver will take on New England powerhouse BB&N in a non-league battle on Saturday.
