Boys Varsity Tennis Capture EIL Crown With Win Over Pingree

Boys tennis defeated Pingree 3-2 to capture its third consecutive EIL title.  Playing indoors due to rain, the boys got off to a quick start, with TJ Moor winning convincingly at 1st Singles.  Jon Marsh and Asa Welch won their match at 2nd Doubles to give Beaver its second point.  Kris Bronner clinched the win and the league title with a win at 2nd Singles.  Jay Rodman and Colin Read lost a tough match at 1st Doubles that went to a tiebreaker, and Adam Goodman lost a very close match at 3rd Singles to give Pingree its two points.  The boys will attempt to capture their 3rd consecutive undefeated league title next against Portsmouth Abbey.
