Gosman, Duarte, and Habermann earn Athletic Accolades

This week, three student-athletes were honored with Athletic Accolades. Alex Gosman ’13, Lexie Duarte ’16, and Ryan Habermann ’17 received the award for their hard work and performance on the field and course.

Alex Gosman – ’13 Varsity Golf
Alex has been an exceptional captain and leader on the team this fall.  In our last match of the regular season he recorded his first ever eagle at Myopia, which is one of the most challenging courses in not only our league, but in all the golf courses in the country.  He ended up shooting a 4 over par for his match.

Lexie Duarte ’16 – Girls Varsity Cross Country
Lexie is very deserving of an accolade this week due to an improvement of 5 minutes on her 5k race time. Earlier this season she ran at Pingree and finished in 33 minutes. Friday when she ran at the same course, she ran a time of 28:35. Improving by such a large margin is extremely difficult.  She has worked very hard, and the effort has certainly paid dividends.

Ryan Habermann ’17 -Middle School Boys A Soccer

Ryan works hard day in and day out. He has been creating a lot for us as an outside midfielder.  He scored a goal in our win over Derby this past week and did a great job defensively as well.
